
Woman Hospitalised After Stabbing at Hugh Muntz Park, Beenleigh
Queensland Police have declared two crime scenes after a 45-year-old woman was stabbed during an altercation at a Beenleigh park on Sunday night.

The Incident
Emergency services were called to Hugh Muntz Park on Morrison Lane, Beenleigh, just before 8pm on Sunday 19 April after reports a woman had been stabbed.
Queensland Police said initial investigations indicated “a verbal altercation occurred between the 45-year-old woman and a man, before the woman sustained a stab wound to her lower abdomen.” Paramedics treated her at the scene and took her to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.
Police Response
Detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch have declared a crime scene at the park, with a second crime scene set up at a caravan believed to be linked to the incident.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the stabbing, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, to come forward. Investigations are ongoing.
