
Anzac Day in Logan: When and Where to Pay Respects on 25 April
Seven Logan suburbs will host dawn services, marches and morning commemorations on Saturday, with police warning of delays around closure zones from 3am.

The Day Ahead
Anzac Day falls on Saturday 25 April 2026, marking 111 years since Australian and New Zealand troops landed at Gallipoli. Logan City Council and the Queensland Police Service have confirmed service times and road closures across the City of Logan.
Dawn Services
The earliest start is at Jimboomba RSL Sub-Branch, with a 4.25am dawn service outside the Jimboomba Library and Community Centre at 18-22 Honora Street. Logan Village follows at 4.28am at the Cenotaph on the Village Green, Wharf Street.
Diggers Services Club holds its dawn service at 5.20am at 42-48 Blackwood Road, Logan Central. Three more services start at 5.30am: Logan Central at the corner of Wembley Road and Jacaranda Avenue, Beenleigh at the war memorial on the corner of Crete and James streets, and the Greenbank Services Club lower carpark.
Marches and Morning Services
Jimboomba steps off first at 7am along Brisbane Street, with a 7.30am morning service at Rotary Park. Springwood Tri-Service RSL Sub Branch marches at 7.45am from the Logan East Community Neighbourhood Centre on Cinderella Drive into Springwood Park, where the morning service begins at 8.15am.
Logan Central marches at 8.30am from the Logan Central Plaza carpark along Wembley Road to the Logan District Ex-Service Memorial Gardens, with a 9am morning service. Beenleigh marches at 9.30am from the corner of Kokoda and York streets, with a 10am service at the war memorial. Greenbank’s march starts at 10am along Anzac Avenue, Hillcrest, ahead of a 10.30am service at the services club.
